 The word of God comes to us live from the pages of the scripture. It is given us in life and will be demanded of us at the judgment. The truths there can be denied, but they never cease being truths anyway. Your belief or unbelief has no bearing on reality. Truth can't cease to be truth because somewhere somehow someone does not agree with it. It is simply truth because it is truth.The Bible is just that. From page to page issues forth the word of life. Read it ere you try to say
ought against it. Do not deny it until you have read its sacred
content. Do not stand afar to say in things about it only to
repent in dust and ashes at the last day. Be an insider and then see
for yourself. It may be that you deny certain things touching the house
while they are inside the house. Enter in yourself and come out with
enough evidence. I know of a little school boy, when we had presented
the clear gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ a scoffer in the house
started shouting out out loud, denying God and the things we spoke up.
Listening to him this little boy said softly, " Sir, It is better to
believe and be disappointed on the last day than to be disppointed when
we had not believed." Oh that a lot of people should just here this
little advice! There are some common things we do not see because we
have grown too great for them, some things just on the ground we will
never see because we have grown so tall in our pride, in what we call
modernism or enlightenment. Things about God can only be seen and known
by little children. God has simplified His ways so that the wayfaring
man though a fool should walk in them. He has hidden these things to
the wise and revealed them to babes. Some like Philip had been with Him
for so long and yet do not know him because they are limited by their
own desires.
I call on everyone to go back to that old book, the Bible. From page to page comes forth the word of life. Read it for yourself and get it for your soul. BETTER BELIEVE AND BE DISAPPOINTED THAN BE DISAPPOINTED WHEN YOU HAD NOT BELIEVED. The scriptures are able to make you wise unto salvation. That is why we just want to talk until from our bones our flesh be hacked. That is why some times we just want to march with the banner high and fast enough. Through the word we have a flash of His glory.
There we meet the spoken word and the Living word , our Lord Jesus Christ.
